So much to do...so much to do…!

n

The winter storms in middle Tennessee have us cozying up by the fireplace with mugs of hot chocolate and fresh baked, homemade cookies. So, without further ado, pen in hand, it is time to do some writing.

n

nFirst, I am most grateful to everyone who stayed here at Sunset Hollow Farm and Gardens in 2025, making it a very fun and successful (100% ***** )year! The best was making so many wonderful new friends! I look forward to seeing many of you again this year!

n

WI-FI is now included in both Cottages!!  Night Light in bathrooms, toaster in the kitchens and more lights for the outdoor kitchen...now you can see what you are burning! My favorite is single use comphy slippers! I even got some for me!

n

YEE HAW. My Kubota tractor, Gracie, is home. The Kubota RTV is here and I can’t wait to take Guests for property tours in comfort! No slogging through the tall weeds. Gracie will be showing those weeds who is in charge and the property will be more gorgeous than ever! I really missed her!

n

Gracie and I along with our hard working crew will be clearing around the pond and making walking trails through the woods and about the expansive21 acres.

n

I have been known to give Tractor driving instructions...it is a HOOT!

n

Horses, we all love horses, and we have three new resident horses on the property. They are not for riding but certainly take petting and carrots to new levels. Just watch your toes. Photo OP!!

n

AHHH, the gardens. The raised beds are loaded to overflowing with Iris. April and May should be peak bloom, maybe a bit in March, really up to Mother Nature. I have collected many varieties over the years and will be offering a very limited quantity of choice Iris available for sale. Seasonally, cut Iris, wild flowers, Peonies and Lilys will be available as well. Each year there will be more and added varieties. It is my passion!

n

The Kitchen garden has been greatly expanded to offer seasonal heirloom, organic vegetables, herbs and flowers. Guests are invited to pick herbs/vegetables to enjoy during their stay at The Cottages and if you would enjoy taking some home, they are very reasonably priced. Availability is seasonal.

n

Bee Hives for our own private label honey? Working on that one….

n

A paddle boat for the pond…? Working on it.

n

Keep in touch and watch as Sunset Hollow Farm and Gardens grows and adds offerings like Girls Week, Writer’s Week, World Outreach Church events discounts, bring friends and book both cottages for 10% discount, 6 months in advance 10% discount.
